As part of the community development initiatives of the History Program of the UST Graduate School, four history faculty members from the 澳门六合彩开奖网 conducted a two-day seminar-workshop on History at the Camarines Norte State College (CNSC) on April 21 and 27, 2021.聽
On the first day, the History Program Lead of the UST Graduate School Assoc. Prof. Augusto V. de Viana, Ph.D., discussed the role of history in society and the gathering and writing of local and oral history.聽 This was followed by the lecture of Dr. Antonio C. Hila on the value of theoretical frameworks in the writing of history.聽 After the session there was an open forum and a presentation of research proposals by the participants.
On the second day of the seminar-workshop UST History Department Chair Assoc. Prof. Archie B. Resos, Ph.D., discussed the 鈥淚mportance of History in the New Normal鈥.聽 Asst. Prof. Emmanuel Jeric Albela, from the History Department of UST discussed 鈥淗istory and the Use of Hermeneutics鈥.聽
The activity was made possible with the cooperation and support of the CNSC College of Arts & Sciences Dean Dr. Melanie D. Bacu帽o.聽 Albela and Graduate School alumna Ivan Kaye Bantigue provided technical support.聽
The two-day seminar was attended by more than 300 participants, including participants from Isabela Province in Northern Luzon to as far south as Zamboanga City.
